I love them all but don't want a name that will date and I fear these might. I also want dimething classless. What do people think?

Isaac
Oliver
Gabriel
Jude

(Really dislike Jude)

I love Oliver. I have two problems with the name personally though.
One it is one of the most popular names at the moment and two I don't like it when people shorten Oliver to "Oli"

Sashapineapple · 23/02/2013 18:13

Really like Jude and Gabriel. Issac is ok. Oliver sounds a bit wet.

Mintberry · 23/02/2013 18:21

Oliver is classless and timeless. Isaac when shortened to zach is classless. Gabriel and Jude sound quite middle class and fancy imo.

Rhubarbgarden · 23/02/2013 19:27

I love Jude. Gabriel and Isaac are both trendy and will date. Oliver is ok but there are sooo many of them. I think they are all pretty middle class names to be honest.

Gabriel.... a man called Gabe would just be gorgeous x

Notnowcato · 24/02/2013 22:48

I think all four are quite class marked and, I'm afraid, all are v popular in primary schools near where we live. (Affluent, middle-class aspirational sort of place!) BUT you really shouldn't worry about that. Choose a name you like.

Of your four, I like Oliver best: but that shouldn't really affect you Smile

Jude followed by Gabriel, really love both. They are four Olivers on DD's nursery class which is obviously an anomaly but has out me off it (otherwise I would have liked it). Likewise DD aged 2.6 pronounces the Isaac in her class just as "Zuk" which has spoilt it for me a bit!

Love Jude (TH fan!)
Oliver waaaay overdone.

Gabriel ok (why need to be practising Christian to pull it off?)

Isaac lovely.
