Name like Ruby

I LOVE the name Ruby and am considering it for DC2 if they are a girl (find out soon)! BUT popularity is off putting although it no 20 in Scotland so less popular than in England. I used to also love Scarlet but have been put off by the name being in soaps! Any suggestions fo similar names please?

I don't have a baby to name but would also have the same strugglie, I've been wondering about Rosie...

Pearl is lovely.

Pearl is not so lovely in Scotland. Scottish accents have a much harder R sound so it can end up being pronounced "Peril".
