Dated? Nice? What's the feel?

Very nice.

smellsofsick · 01/02/2013 12:38

Love it. I only know nice Hannahs so has positive connotations for me. Also doesn't it mean grace?

Numberlock · 01/02/2013 12:38

Bear in mind, for anyone who's from Lancashire, like me, it will be pronounced the same as Anna. Smile

MissyMooandherBeaverofSteel · 01/02/2013 12:40

I have a Hannah, she is called bananas by everyone (even on her school report Grin ) I don't know any other Hannahs either so its uncommon without being 'out there'.

ghoulelocks · 01/02/2013 12:43

Funny Missy, round here the world and their best friend has a dd called Hannah in the 15-25 yr age bracket it seems!

Really? I wonder if they have all congregated in your corner of the world then. I've never met a 'Hannah' before.

ghoulelocks · 01/02/2013 12:49

Just checked, it was number 41 on the list for 2011! I'm very surprised...still like it though!

Lovely lovely name. A bit common which puts me off a little bit but still lovely Smile

WaynettaSlobsLover · 01/02/2013 13:32

Pretty and I like it Grin

ghoulelocks · 01/02/2013 13:36

harrymum, normally common puts me off. I want feminine but not hyper girly, I always think I'd be embarrassed at my male dominated (at least in leadership work) if I didn't have a strongish name that was too pretty, e.g. a flower name. Maybe that's silly...

I like Helena too (first female judge)

It was my choice is number four was a girl, he was a boy .... :)

Want a number 5 so I can use it.

It means God is gracious. Certainly not common any more.

DialsMavis · 01/02/2013 13:44

Love it, but my SIL is Hannah and I love her so that might be why!

Longdistance · 01/02/2013 13:44

I know a Hannah, she's 9, and she's just such a lovely girl. So calm, and fun, and loving.

Harrysmummysarah1 · 01/02/2013 14:17

My sisters baby is Helena lovely name. She was also considering
Harriet.
Phoebe.
Verity.

If you love Hannah I would go with that though

Maebe · 01/02/2013 14:24

Really lovely. Doesn't seem that popular around here.

NymphadoraTonks · 01/02/2013 14:35

Love it, first choice if I ever have a girl

Floggingmolly · 01/02/2013 14:38

We considered this for dd (who's now 11!), but rejected it because it was everywhere then.

RubyGrace17 · 01/02/2013 17:40

I think it's a very sweet name :)

Ruby

AvonCallingBarksdale · 01/02/2013 17:43

I've always loved it, was v keen for DD to be Hannah (or DS had he been a girl.) Lots of Hannahs round here and DH not keen. I think it's a lovely name.

MILdesperandum · 01/02/2013 17:54

We've got a Hannah (nearly 3) not met any others her age - we love the name

Mikethemonkey · 01/02/2013 19:56

I know six Hannah's under five its nice but much prefer Anna.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 01/02/2013 20:03

Hannah and Anna are both nice names. Quite safe though

mizu · 01/02/2013 20:05

I have a Hanna - probably wouldn't have chosen it if my DH wasn't Muslim and we had to have a name that was Arabic and English but love it now.

Peekabooooo · 01/02/2013 20:07

lovely name, down point is she may get the nickname spanner like a Hannah I know does.

sw11mumofone · 01/02/2013 21:06

Hannah is a bit dull IMO. Think Anna is a bit cooler. Depends what you're after though I suppose. And Helena is quite nice - but pronounced he-len-a as opposed to He-lane-a.
