My SIL has just found out she is having a girl but is really stuck for names. They want something elegant that will suit dd at all ages and something that isn't overly popular/trendy. Some names she likes but can't use are...

forgot to say, middle name will be Anne (family name) or Ruth if Anne doesn't sound right. Ta.

Alexandra is another one she loves but her sister has an Alexander. You're definately on the right lines though. Gabriella is currently the only one on the maybe list!

We have a Jennifer Grace, not sure whether you'd class it as elegant but she was the only Jennifer they had on the list when we registered her birth so it seems not so mainstream anymore.
