What do you think?

I like the fact that it's a known name but fairly unusual. I guess there might be some 's' or 'z' confusion.

love, love, love it - Grin

CarolingFanjoChops · 25/01/2013 07:44

I love it! I'd prefer it with the s, as it looks softer.

TanteRose · 25/01/2013 07:44

oh yes, def. s not z

cutestgirls · 25/01/2013 07:59

hmmm. not my thing personally but it does sound like a nice name

MidnightMasquerader · 25/01/2013 08:29

Meh, it wouldn't be on my list, I have to admit.

However, I do think there is going to be a trend away from pretty, soft, feminine names soon, and I think this would tick the box (in a nice way).

Love it. Gorgeous name :)

forgetmenots · 25/01/2013 10:05

Lovely. Feminine without being frilly. S not Z! :)

I considered it but don't like Tammy, think you hav to b happy with that nickname. Tammi even worse!

Pasiphae · 25/01/2013 13:13

I prefer Tasmin, it's got punch to it.
Tamsin feels a bit old.

oldspeckledtam · 25/01/2013 13:24

I am a Tamsin. She will spend her life correcting people who write and say tasmin, no matter how often they're told.

I've NEVER been a Tammy though. Just isn't me!

It's a perfectly serviceable name and there aren't too many of us about. The Tasmin thing pisses me off, though.

Yfronts · 25/01/2013 14:14

theres also Tasmin

MisselthwaiteManor · 25/01/2013 14:48

I have a cousin called Tamsin, she never gets called Tammy but does get Tasmin a lot. It is a lovely name, I like it.

EllenParsons · 26/01/2013 02:31

I like it! My lovely SIL is called tamsin. She does not ever get called tammy so I don't think that's a given. I have known a couple of tamsins and they generally just get tam instead of tammy.

DessieLou · 26/01/2013 02:56

I like it! Like you say, heard of but not over popular. Good choice!
