My dm thinks it's too 'out there' but I like it and so does dh!

I like the name and what it means but could be swayed!

Any thoughts?

I love it. Would use it as a first name.

Love Benedict. It was a top choice boys name for us (but we had girls)

bigbluebump · 24/01/2013 11:42

Why not? It is a proper name!

TenthMuse · 24/01/2013 13:40

I really like it - great either as a first name or a middle name (especially with a shorter first name).

NowPlayingZone · 24/01/2013 13:41

I think it's nice. I wouldn't be that bothered what my DM thought of my name choices either!

I think you can get away with almost anything as a middle name, not many people will know/remember it. Anyway Benedict is nice (and gaining popularity thanks to Mr Cumberbatch).
