One. She is about 5 now, and gets called Bea. I think it is a lovely name.

Minty82 · 15/01/2013 16:08

Only one, and she's not that little any more, she's 9. Pretty name.

CabbageLooking · 15/01/2013 16:09

Gorgeous name. I'm not allowed it because our surname is a B and I'm not allowed to alliterate. :(

Eskino · 15/01/2013 16:09

Well in a week or so, we'll have one of our own!

farmersdaugther · 15/01/2013 18:01

None - its a family name going back hence my Mumsnet name - I love it & if I had had a daughter would have been in my top 5 names - I like it as well because unlike most names I equally like its shortened version.

loolooskiptotheloo · 15/01/2013 21:59

When people are saying it is shortened to bea, that is pronounced 'B' not 'beer' rightGrinGrin

determinedma · 15/01/2013 22:03

I know a 20 year old one - my niece.
She is bilingual so it is pronounced both the English way and the lovely French bay-a- treez.
