I'm expecting our 2nd child and we don't know the sex. DS1 is called Isaac and I quite like Eli if this baby is a boy too. What do you think?

I have a feeling it's about to get really popular.

But it's not bad.

I love it but then I have an Isaac and it was on my list when I was expecting number 2.

I adore it. It was my choice for ds (4) but I have a Lily too and didn't want to be confused with a pharmaceutical manufacturer (Eli Lilly). The only thing is that I thought an Eli might be called Ellie - maybe unless the full name was Elijah (love that too)

Then I remembered that it's also a Biblical name and rather lovely. :)

It's a bit rural as a name. (A bit Seth-like iyswim) but very nice.

My friend has one. I really dislike it. Too religious maniac.

I really like it - we use it as a short form for Elijah for one of our boys.
