Claudia or Clementine?

Or something else entirely?

Are they twins or older/younger sibling set?
These are the names that come to mind when trying to match with Saffron

Willow
Sage
Fern
Summer

ClaraBean · 09/01/2013 23:06

Saffron and Clementine together are a bit 'foody'!
I think Saffron goes beautifully with
Cordelia
Delilah
Helena
Laurel
Beatrix
Xanthe
Muriel
Daphne
Octavia
Violet
Opal
Zuleika
Tessa
Mabel

Nobody has mentioned Claudia, does it sound odd with Saffron?

I don't think it should matter what sort of siblings they are, I don't think twins should be more matchy!

ClaraBean I love Delilah but think it sounds a bit to frilly/OTT, I also love Octavia but the Skoda thing has ruined it! Not that keen on the other suggestions.

I quite like the idea of another nature name but there's something wrong with every nature name I think of! Plus maybe another nature name would be a bit twee anyway?

Celesta ? Celeste?

SchmancyPants · 10/01/2013 07:07

I think Saffron and Claudia go really nicely together. Or how about
Saffron and Clemency
Saffron and Ivy
Saffron and Zinnia?

Pancakeflipper · 10/01/2013 07:12

Arminta.

Then it's Saffron and Minty.

ClaraBean · 10/01/2013 09:58

What about Juniper?

BlueChampagne · 10/01/2013 13:02

Saffron and Vashti
Saffron and Tamsin

delilah88 · 10/01/2013 13:27

With no doubt CASSIA is the name you're looking for. Hippyish, posh and pretty in exactly the same way!

nannyof3 · 10/01/2013 13:29

Alexis ?

Conflugenglugen · 10/01/2013 13:37

Tallulah
Marigold
Willow

NoGinorWine4Mu1berry · 10/01/2013 13:39

Claudia,

or Claudine. I think Saffron and Claudine sound more like sisters.

NoGinorWine4Mu1berry · 10/01/2013 13:39

oh yes, Saffron and Willow - that works. I really dislike Clementine. It is is such an unattractive sound.

noisytoys · 10/01/2013 13:40

My DD1 is Saffron. DD2 is Willow I always get compliments on how well the two names go together Smile

NoGinorWine4Mu1berry · 10/01/2013 13:47

Yeah they do noisytoys, compliments on that combo. I know I've read on here that it doesn't matter, but it's nice that they sound like they were chosen with a consistent taste, but they both begin with a different letter, no repetition of the same consonants so they are both strong names in their own right. That might sound bonkers but I like sibling names to work well like that.

Gugglebum · 11/01/2013 04:44

The only Saffron I know has a sister named Azalea. I think Claudia or Clementine sound lovely with it too, I'm just not keen on Claudia's meaning.

mathanxiety · 11/01/2013 05:35

Saskia
Zoe
India
Hazel
Imogen
Jasmine
Beatrix
Ines
Keziah

I always think Claudia is a harsh sounding name.

Littlecherublegs · 11/01/2013 13:14

I like Claudia!

Other suggestions:
Flora
Yasmin
Ivy
Lola
Thea
Fern
Elodie
Clover
Iris
Violet

Pasiphae · 11/01/2013 13:25

I like Claudia too, the food theme of Saffron and Clementine is too "twee" for me.
I like the previous suggestion of Claudine ever better!
Saffron and Josephine, Ariella, Cecilia, Cora, Honor/Honoria, Isolda/Isild, June?

Bonsoir · 11/01/2013 13:27

I know a Saffron. Her sisters are called:

Berquis
Anaïs
Fahrina
Salomé
Lilly-Rose

FoofFighter · 11/01/2013 13:27

Saffron and India

Pasiphae · 11/01/2013 13:29

I forgot if nature theme, how about:
Laurel, Cerise, Cecily, Angelica, Veronica, Valeriane, Eglantine, Celandine, Lobelia, Thistle, Floriane, Myrtle?

SoggySummer · 11/01/2013 13:29

I like Saffron and Clementine. Love them both.

atthewelles · 11/01/2013 13:35
