Hi, I am looking for help in naming twins, I think we are set on Noah and Phoebe but just need a name for twin 2!

If BB I like:

Noah and Rupert
Noah and Jacob
Noah and Alex maybe.. what are your thoughts and any further suggestions?

If twins are BG they will be Noah Robert and Phoebe Willow.

If GG I am struggling to know what I like with Phoebe. Please could you help?!

Thanks x

Freya?

lollydollydrop · 05/01/2013 19:31

Yes that does go nicely with Phoebe doesnt it :) I would have to persuade OH though, he isnt used to names past those he encountered at school I'm afraid! A work in progress lol xx

Ava is nice too

Gosh I dont think I could carry twins and not REALLy want to find out the sexes! I think Sophia sounds lovely with Phoebe. I like Reuben for a boy and I think its nice with Noah.

devonsmummy · 05/01/2013 20:47

I always think of Chloe when I hear the name Pheobe

I know two little Phoebes with sisters called Florence?
Love Noah and Jacob together.

LittleDonkin · 05/01/2013 21:02

My 11 week old niece is called Phoebe Florence!!!!!

GW297 · 05/01/2013 21:28

Florence
Anna

babyblabber · 05/01/2013 21:32

I have a Noah (& a sophia) and other boys' names I like were Luca, Leo, Ben, James, Samuel, Jacob (but maybe that makes it too biblical?) & Henry.

I know a baby phoebe and her siblings are Jessica & Alexandra

Congrats!

DessieLou · 05/01/2013 23:17

If bb how about the male version of phoebe.... Noah & Phoebus? I love Rupert though so that gets my vote.
Girls names are harder. Random suggestions...
Grace
Leila
Neva
Georgia
Sally

My niece, so are Freya and Phoebe. I think they sound great together as does Florence and Phoebe, but I two names beginning in the same sound causes a lot of mix ups! I often start saying ones name when I mean the other so maybe a different sound would be good.
Eliza
Matilda
Violet
Esme
Lola
Tabitha
Amelie
Jessica

DebK2012 · 06/01/2013 11:36

Phoebe & Rebecca

lollydollydrop · 06/01/2013 12:53

I like James but it is my OH's name! He likes Lucas but I dont care for that, Luca is a bit weak sounding for me next to Noah, I would like a name with a different sound ending.
So far Noah and Jacob or Rupert are still my boy faves
Girls I like Florence but agree with the sound being not right with Phoebe. Jessica was my fave name from being a teenager, I struggle now with wondering whether people perceive it to be a bit 'tarty'?

I like Violet. You don't see Violent? Lola is a bit show girly for me, and too similar to my name!

Eliza I like but it reminds OH of his first partner Elizabeth. Matilda, Esme and Tabitha are a bit too pretentious for me :/ sorry!

I did like Elodie but OH needs convincing of that too!!

Sorry we're a bit fussy lol

Jessica is anything but tarty :)
Eloise
Elsie
Seren
[Phoebe meaning sun and Seren being star]
Lucia or Lucy
Freya

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 06/01/2013 15:36

Luna (means moon) would be brilliant wth Phoebe (sun)

OkayHazel · 06/01/2013 16:44

My sister and I are Felicity and Phoebe.

Mum says she's need to carry on with the 'eff' sound if she had anyone. (Same sound and different initials has made life much easier).

She says she would go for Freya and Faye if she ever had anymore.

Rita

BoyMeetsWorld · 06/01/2013 16:55

Noah and Reuben
Noah and Jacob
Noah and Nathan
Noah and Joseph
Noah and Edmund

Phoebe and Imelda
Phoebe and Lara
Phoebe and Aisla
Phoebe and Orla
Phoebe and Esther
Phoebe and Caitlin

BoyMeetsWorld · 06/01/2013 16:57

Ooh or Phoebe and Flora maybe if you like Florence?

lollydollydrop · 06/01/2013 21:03

Elsie is a bit too old fashioned for me, I do like that trend but dont think it will work with the other names we like. I like Elsa but again not the right style for us.

I like strong names like Martha and Greta. Maybe Clara and Clarissa.

Luna was a fave a year ago till someone said 'Lunatic?' and now thats all I think.. doesnt seem a real name, more a nn. My starsign is ruled by the moon so I like the link with the meanings of certain names like Phoebe etc.

Imelda- ugh!
Orla is lovely but an anagram of my own name! Esther too old.
OH likes Caitlin! But not Freya lol xx

Noah and Joshua (Josh)
Noah and Tobias (Toby)
Noah and Sebastian (Seb)
Noah and Dominic

Phoebe and Emily
Phoebe and Lily
Phoebe and Cora
Phoebe and Evangeline

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 06/01/2013 21:21

Aurelia
Stella
Nell
Claudia

lollydollydrop · 06/01/2013 21:37

OH loves Joshua but our surname has the 'Sh' sound too so its a bit much together :(

Tobias feels a bit pretentious on Us- like it though and Toby but I always think Toby Trains and an ex friend who stole money from me named his son Toby so no!

Sebastian is v cool, I like that I lot. Our surname starts with S is that ok? I also like Seth but dont think it works well with our surname, or maybe with Noah.

Last night when I mentioned Noah and Jacob to OH he made a noise like 'owww Rupert?!' lol

Dominic not to my taste.

Emily and Lily are too popular for me. Cora is only one letter different to mine and rhymes so too similar- I do love it though! Pity. Like Coralie and Coraline, OH wasnt sure :(

Evangeline too much of a mouthful for me. I like Meredith but we named our cat that Lol
