I love the full name, I like Bea, but loathe Trixie... Or is it massively overused altogether?

Beatrice is prettier I think and avoids the Trixie issue.

LOVE Beatrix....Beatrice on the other hand is nice but blah, and also much more used! You can still use the nn Bea!

Wasn't it originally a nn for Beatrice?

I think Beatrix has a more modern feisty feel to it, the x is like a little party on the end!

Love it. Can't imagine anyone shortening it to Trixie. If they did then you can correct them!

I don't like it, Beatrice/Beatrix both sound dusty and frumpy to me.

I think it's lovely. Don't worry too much about the nickname; it's often beyond your control. We almost didn't choose our daughter's name because I wasn't crazy about the diminutive but now it's grown on me (which is lucky because all her friends call her that) .

I love it. Can be shortened to Bea or Beattie if you like.
