I love the full name, I like Bea, but loathe Trixie... Or is it massively overused altogether?

Beatrice is prettier I think and avoids the Trixie issue.

LOVE Beatrix....Beatrice on the other hand is nice but blah, and also much more used! You can still use the nn Bea!

I think Beatrix has a more modern feisty feel to it, the x is like a little party on the end!

Love it. Can't imagine anyone shortening it to Trixie. If they did then you can correct them!

I don't like it, Beatrice/Beatrix both sound dusty and frumpy to me.

I think it's lovely. Don't worry too much about the nickname; it's often beyond your control. We almost didn't choose our daughter's name because I wasn't crazy about the diminutive but now it's grown on me (which is lucky because all her friends call her that) Smile.

I love it. Can be shortened to Bea or Beattie if you like.
