Amelia ?

When choosing names we've been thinking about any nicknames she might get. Love the names Mia and Millie, which Amelia may possibly be shortened to when she is older by others but has anyone ever heard of it being shortened to Amy?

Amy Pond (Doctor Who) was an Amelia. I'd never considered it before then, but it works well.

We have an Emilia and a nn we never thought of is growing in use Mimi (personally not fussed on it bit can't stop everyone using it) we also use Emmy, Milli, Lia and Em
