I like it, and can't think of any that I know in real life.

farmersdaugther · 01/01/2013 21:16

I know it's popular as a middle name but haven't heard it that much as a first.

We have a Rose, and in 3 years only met one other.....a few Rosies, but only one other Rose. Go for it!

Permisson · 10/01/2013 19:05

Getting more popular I think.

LizzieVereker · 10/01/2013 19:07

I really like it. Also, I've been teaching for 12 years and only ever taught one Rose.

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 10/01/2013 19:18

I have a Rose. Think there might be a Rosie a couple of years above her at school.

We quite often call her Rosie but she is most definitely Rose.

Emilia Fox called her daughter Rose which might have inspired other people to use the name.

loobywench · 11/01/2013 16:02

My neice is called Rose I think its a lovely name. I also like Rosa though, it was my grandmas name and is more unusual.

ggirl · 11/01/2013 16:08

My 21yr old dd is a Rose , def not a Rosie. She only knows one other a few yrs younger than her, but I think it is becoming more popular

ZooAnimals · 11/01/2013 16:47

I know a few and also a few Rosies, which I know is different, but it's so similar you probably need to consider it.
