Aurora
Ophelia
Cecelia
Beatrice
Beatrix

Sister to Edith, known as Edie?

Audrey wonderful

Aurora - Disney Princess and lights
Ophelia - a feel of Ophelia
Cecelia - Suggs cover
Beatrice - like but not as much as Audrey
Beatrix - like but think you will continually correct from Beatrice

ggirl · 30/12/2012 21:06

I like Audrey but I think it's too similar sounding to Edie

of your list I like Beatrix and Cecelia best

BangOffTrend · 30/12/2012 21:16

They're all v pretty, good list. Beatrice is my favourite and goes well with Edith/Edie and abbreviated to Bea which also goes well with Edie.

Audrey, I like it a lot. Eldest Dd has a friend with the nameand it has worked when she was a baby/child and now in her twenties.

Not too stuffy (Beatrix, Beatrice, Cecelia) or fluffy (Aurora, Ophelia).

happyinherts · 30/12/2012 21:50

Audrey is just sheer class and elegance

DebK2012 · 30/12/2012 22:13

Absolutely love Audrey it is so corrie!!!!! Love it!!!!!

Alisvolatpropiis · 30/12/2012 23:16

I think Audrey is the most lovely.

Audrey and Edie rolls off the tongue without being samey.

ArthurandGeorge · 30/12/2012 23:20

I love Audrey (and Edie) but think they are too similar.

Beatrice goes nicely.

Pearl

I think Audrey is a fantastic name
Some of the women on my side of the family have it as a first or middle name. Inc me Grin

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 30/12/2012 23:24

Just makes me think:

"feed me Seymour!"

Sorry!

Clary · 30/12/2012 23:27

Oooh I know a lovely Audrey and the other name they had for her was Beatrix, how funny!

Edith and Audrey, that's lovely.

I also liek Cecilia, Beatrice or Beatrix from your list.

Rhubarbgarden · 01/01/2013 19:33

I have an Audrey so I'm biased. Smile

To be honest though, I don't think it works with Edie as it's too much of a tongue twister. You'll end up shouting Audie and Edrey.

birdofthenorth · 03/01/2013 22:33

Audrey is head and shoulders above your other choices IMHO. Fabulous name.

jellyrolly · 03/01/2013 22:43

I love Audrey.

I have boys but when pregnant said I like Audrey and someone said "I just think of Audrey off Corrie", no better woman Wink.

NotjustaMummy · 06/01/2013 06:37

Dagnammit! Turns out there is already an Audrey on the other side of the family... I never plan to see them but it would appear there would be ishoos Hmm
