Is it popular name? Do you know any Lilias?

I've never heard it before? It's a very pretty sounding name - what does it mean?

There are two girls named Lilia in the school where I work- one is 5 and the other 7.

A coworkers daughter is Lilia. It's a lovely name!

I thought it was just a version of Lillian, but a girl named this came to our day-care centre, and all the staff - all half my age - screamed with laughter, because to them it is a brand of sanitary protection. I guess the half-my-age thing is relevant, as I wouldn't have known.

It looks pretty, but I find it quite difficult to say out loud. Not sure why.

I think of the dancer from strictly. Just looked and it was a brand of sanitary towels - gutted!

I've heard of Lilias. A woman in her sixties. I like it better than Lilia but then I don't like Lily either, find it too hard to pronounce.

And would you believe, when I went to google, never having heard of an ST by that name, up popped a 2008 MN thread
