I'm due to give birth to a baby boy in a couple of weeks and still not 100% decided on a name. We are struggling to agree so as a compromise we were thinking of choosing a name each. Only problem is we have to use the middle name James (family tradition) so it would mean that baby has 4 names. (First name, James, middle name, surname).
DD only has 3 names (first name, middle name, surname). Do u think it matters that DC1 has 3 names then DC2 would have 4?

Not a jot. My DTs have a surname as a 3rd name. It's asian and my surname has 13 letters so it couldn't double barrel

I don't think it matters at all.

How are you going to decide who gets their name choice first and who gets the name choice third? Would it be easier to have your chosen names first and second and then James as the third name?
