Starting to think of baby names for our bump due in 2013. We are sorted with a girls name we both love, what do you think of these 3 boy's names. Any suggestions of others with a similar style?

Joseph-don't like the others.
William, George, Henry, Edward.

Love Rowan, its ds1 (4yrs) name, also love Arthur it is Rowan's middle name and also my nephews name. Not too keen on Joseph, there are 3 in ds1's class so seems slightly more popular than the other 2.

Love Rowan

SushiPaws · 05/12/2012 21:16

Arthur is lovely makes me think of bravely, Rowan second, Joseph too biblical.

Like them all, especially Rowan, but I'd use it for a girl. What about Robin? Joel?

goralka · 05/12/2012 21:17

yes Arthur or Rowan not Joseph IMO

baublesandbaileys · 05/12/2012 21:17

I really like them all, but I think Rowan wins

Arthur - it's strong, characterful and has some great associations (King Arthur etc). Love Rowan too, but would use it for a girl. Joseph is a bit colourless and overdone for me - know loads of them!

Joseph/Joe

WaftyCrank · 06/12/2012 03:30

I have a Joseph and know 6 others including another in his class. I love his name but wish I'd chosen something a bit less popular.

Arthur and Rowan are both great names, think I prefer Rowan for some reason.

Joseph, not too keen on the other two

I really like all three. Two of the names are those chosen for my two sons.
