Kal or Cal

Anyone know one? Is this a real name or have I just made it up

Kal is the first bit of Superman's name (Kal-El).

I know a Cal, a nn of Calvin.

Cal is a name - its the name of a book by Bernard Maclafferty. Cal in the book is a miserable so and so but I quite like the name. Guess it could be short for Calum?

Cal, or Cahal.

Cal, short for Calvin or Callum. Love it as a nickname, but not quite so keen on either of the longer versions.

We have a Calum who is sometimes called cal.

I've got a Callan, we shorten it to Cal. Great name!

I would go with Cal. I know 2, one short for Callum and one short for Callan.

But not just Cal.

And definitely not Kal.
