Is it ridiculous and only a name that a trendy celeb can get away with?
Just in the process of TTC no 2 so have been having some discussions with dh about future names. Dh loves it and suggested it, i quite like it but am thinking I'm not trendy enough. Big brother is a jake.
Shall I veto it before we even start?

I love it but you really need to love it to consider it.

I wanted Elvis and Sonny but wasn't allowed. You might not value my opinion now Xmas Smile

Have you a daughter called Cher?

HerRoyalNotness · 01/12/2012 18:46

It just seems like a non name. I work with one and keep wanting to ask what his proper name is.

Jakeyblueblue · 01/12/2012 19:17

Jelly I think you should have been married to my dh instead. He's also recently suggested ringo!! Ringo, elvis and sonny! I could see it now!
I am thinking along the same lines as the rest of you tbh!!

LOVE it

krankykitty · 02/12/2012 00:35

I think it's nice - makes me think of people with a "sunny" disposition for some reason!

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 02/12/2012 00:37

Jake and Sonny has a nice ring to it. I like it.

SomersetONeil · 02/12/2012 04:27

For some reason, I really dislike this name. Always have.

I definitely do not think it is trendy! It has been around for ages, for a start. How can it be trendy? Confused

Janeatthebarre · 03/12/2012 15:56

It sounds more like a nickname than a proper name.

CPtart · 03/12/2012 16:30

I know one of 9yrs. Sounds like its short for something, a nickname, not something that would sit right on a job application form!

PurpleTinsel · 03/12/2012 16:35

It doesn't really sound like a proper name to me. It seems more like a generic word for a boy, so a bit like calling a child Laddie or Boy.

fantashtic · 03/12/2012 16:36

my half italian friends have baby Santino, called Sonny. It's a gorgeous name :)

jellyrolly · 03/12/2012 20:48

Ringo! I never thought of that Jakey! I also have Percy picked out for my surprise menopause baby.
