I had a look on here for previous mentions on this name - hasn't come up for a few years! The reactions last time seemed a bit negative - just wondering if this might have changed recently. I think we're going for it anyway if we have a boy, Beatrix for a girl.
Already have a girl, Sasha...

The reaction 'Ridley Pidley' in the playground is the one that springs to mind! although the name itself isnt terrible i think it has grounds for being teased- depends how much you mind that!

I like it.
Was my ex mil's maiden name & I said if we had a boy it'd be a good name.
We didn't have kids (thankfully) a few years after we split I bumped into ex bil, his wife and new baby daughter called .... Ridley

Thanks for the replies - I looked at an online register and it seems only 11 babies were given this name in 2010. I can see the potential for poking fun in the playground, but I think there are worse names for that - and I love -ley names... I think of a cheeky little chap scampering around, so sod it, we'll go for it!

I like it.

Be prepared for Wriggly/Riley/Willy when they are young. Its surprisingly hard for young children to pronounce. That could be said of a lot of names though.

Go for it!
