How would you pronounce Lucia?

Just that, really...I know how I would want it pronounced, but I don't want to condemn dd to a lifetime of "actually, it's pronounced..." if my pronunciation isn't the most obvious one. So could you roughly phonetically spell the first pronunciation that comes to mind, please, kind mumsnetters?

The Lucia I went to school with (English, as far as I recall) pronounced it LOO-cee-ah.

My friend's Italian university flatmate pronounced her name loo-CHEE-ah.

And the Lucia I work with (South American) says loo-CEE-ah.

Loo-Chee-a with the emphasis on the Chee.

Unless I was talking about St. Lucia the island in which case I'd say Loosha.
