We really like this name, I'm after leaving it and coming back around to it a few times. So I would like to get some opinions from you all, do you like it, what impressions do you get from it and do you know any??? TIA

Or the main flavour in gin, TBH.

For a boy or girl?

It sounds very energetic and fun but, personally, I like serious names and Juniper just isn't one.

MolotovCocktail · 27/11/2012 13:02

No. Absolutely no, sorry - it sounds like a joke name.

I'm sure there are other 'nature names' out there?

Juniper berries which flavour gin.

MolotovCocktail · 27/11/2012 13:07

From the Nameberry list, I like Calla, Rain, Meadow and Willow for girls; Ash, Fox and River for boys.

Nameberry cites Juniper as a boy's name, btw.

JemimaLovesJelly · 27/11/2012 13:10

For a girl, I know it can also be used for a boy.

I like it and have just added it to my list Blush

"And behold it gave forth Juniper berries" - Life of Brian.

Sorry, I don't like it. But don't listen to me, I only like proper traditional names.

JemimaLovesJelly · 27/11/2012 13:18

The Juniper berry/gin thing doesn't bother me at all tbh.

Juna, June, Juno, Jennifer, Jessica, Junia, Jurisa, Justina, Justine, Jocelyn.

But you know, if you love Juniper, go for it. I didn't write the rules :)

Absolutely love that name.
I think it's lively, fun and exciting, but smart at the same time.
