Welsh name spelling advice

I like the name Eleri but have seen it spelt Elerie - is this a known spelling in Wales? I prefer it with the 'e' on the end but wouldn't like to give DD a name with a made up spelling. Any advice much appreciated.

I am Welsh and have never seen it spelt with an 'e' on the end. Why would you add an 'e'? It is lovely just as it is.

I agree with Surrey.

only Eleri will do,bach

Yep, the name is Eleri. If I saw "Elerie" I wouldn't recognise it as the same name or know how to pronounce it.
