Too grown up for a little baby?

not that I am even pregnant

Do you think of the opera or Carmen Sandiego? Wink

I think of Carmen Silvero (?) - the lady who played Rennees wife in Allo Allo.....Grin

So long as you like a name - go with it - when the time comes!!!!! (they don't stay babies for long!)

I think of the opera or the Lana Del Rey song. I like it,it's just got something about it.

It is quite grown up I suppose, but we are all adults longer than we are children. I'd rather have a "grown up" name at 5 than a "child's" name at 20,50,70.

I have a relative named Carmen, very spirited lady! Has a huge zest for life! Smile

My friend has a Carmen aged 7. Not overly keen personally, but I agree, better to have an "older" name as a baby than a cutesy name after the age of 5. How about Cara?

Rollers.
Sorry!

chocolateicecream · 20/11/2012 20:59

Iv'e always liked this name.

Opera, rollers, and 'Allo 'Allo here too! I rather like it actually, and agree with the others that she'll grow into it very quickly, much better an adult name early on than a babyish name as an adult.

Neither. I think of Carmen Miranda and Carmen Electra.
