Merryn/Merida

I really like the name Merryn. DH doesn't so its a no go. However I did say I liked Merida and he agreed.

What do you think?

I know a little boy called Merryn, which I've never heard before. Merida sounds very feminine...

There is a financial journalist called Merryn who writes for the FT. I know that's no help in deciding, but thought it might be good to see that there are people out there with that name!

Its not pronouced like the car, I have now just made that bloody connection although the car is Meriva pronounced Mer ee va but Merida is pronounced Mer i da.

No although I know there is a St Merryn there. It was the name of a girl in 1 episode of Stargate.

Like Merryn, but prefer Murren.

I'm only 8 weeks but we're having Merryn for a girl...this has literally been my most favourite name for about 8 years!! I want to call her Merrie as a nickname :) love it!!
