Girls name short list

our short list for our soon to arrive little girl is below, I like them all but am not sure which I LOVE. DH is totally sold on Alice which sort of puts me off because i like it but it would feel like he had chosen it by turning his nose up at everything else, which is what happened with DS. But that could be my pregnancy hormones at work, the poor man can do no right at the moment!!!!We already have a Henry

Alice is very popular in my sons class there are 4! It is a pretty name but not very exciting.
Imogen is nice, guess it depends on your surname. Lots of Amelias's and Lucy's although I do like Lucy.
My favourite is Grace.

I like Alice and Lucy both very pretty names good for when they are little and grown up :)

Imogen is just lovely.

Alice is pretty, Grace and Amelia ok but massively overused, and Lucy is just a bit dull, sorry.

Lucy is my favourite, then Alice.

Alice - lovely, I know a few, but not loads, like nn Ali
Grace - nice, I know quite a few though, like nn Gracie
Amelia - please no! There are sooooo many, you might as well just call her 'girl'. It's not even a particularly nice name.
Lucy - pretty, classic, not overused, a bit meh nn Lu, Lulu both quite sweet.
Imogen - nice, not keen on Immy as a nn though

My personal favourite is Alice (sorry!).

Alice or Grace

Don't like the others personally, sorry.

Imogen Grace would be a beautiful name.

Alice is the best one.

Lucy is also lovely.

These two seem like non Faddy classics.

The others are nice but much more 'of the moment' and will date less well.

Alice and Imogen are my favs . Don't like Lucy .

Grace. Grace is so under used as a first name!

Depends where you live. Grace seems to be the most popular name for girls aged between 5-10yrs around here. Wasn't it the no1 name for a few years too?

Grace underused??? Seriously?! It ranked at number 8 for 2011 and I think it's been a lot higher in recent years.

Beautiful name though. Grace or Imogen would be my favourite but I also like Alice and Lucy. The only one I don't like is Amelia.

Grace is lovely, unless you're from Birmingham. Grice is not so pretty. I'm not being too much of a snobby twat, I don't think: there are names I love that I wouldn't use as a scouser, like Clare. Cler is not a great sound.

I know two of each under 3, apart from Lucy. So I'd go for Lucy

I love them all, especially Alice, Lucy, and Imogen. They're beautiful, classic names.

5. Grace (every other child is also called this but god know why - I can't stand it)

Imogen is a beautiful name I love it! Alice is nice too. others are all a bit too plain for me.

Imogen is my fave out of the five.

same as zozzle - Imogen is my favourite. I don't really like Amelia, i do like Alice and Lucy. Grace is just too popular.
