I have an Adelaide. It took people quite a lot of getting used too (my MIL refuses to use it, and calls her Addy!) but I love it. I think it sounds strong and looks pretty written down.

It's lovely.
I've been reading about kings and queens of old and came across an Adeliza. I love that too.

MJandherdog · 31/10/2012 14:49

Love it!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 31/10/2012 14:54

Absolutely love, love, love it!

schnauzerfan · 31/10/2012 14:56

My daughter is an Adelaide and I love it! x

scarevola · 31/10/2012 14:58

Lovely!

I think Royal names in general have had a bit of a resurgence this year.

scarevola · 31/10/2012 14:58

(Though I don't see Berengaria catching on again in a hurry...)

LeBoob · 31/10/2012 14:58

Our daughter was nearly Adelaide, I adore it

RyleDup · 31/10/2012 15:11

I like Adelaide, and Adeline.

Gwennan · 31/10/2012 15:45

Love it.

Classic but quirky.

Ticks my boxes!

CanIHaveAPetGiraffePlease · 31/10/2012 15:49

I wouldn't but then that's due to Australian links. Sounds pretty though..

SouthernComforts · 31/10/2012 15:57

I don't usually like 'place' names but I love it.
