Came across a small Gwyneth lately. I've got nothing against it as a name, but it did surprise me. It's a generation below the currently fashionable old lady names, isn't it? - kind of like Doreen, Angela, Caroline?

Gwyneth Paltrow has much to do with it I'd suspect.

I don't much like it but I suppose Gwyneth Paltrow has made it cool.

My money's on Nolene as the new Mia

I like it, but suspect there are a lot of girls named after Gwyneth Paltrow!

I quite like it but, then again, I like Caroline too! It is quite an unexpected choice for a little girl though!

Err...just to say that I'm a 25 year old Caroline and I really don't associate my name with Doreen or Angela...!

I'm a Gwyneth and have never thought it ages me at all. The only thing I think people can tell about me from my name is that I'm welsh, and that's no bad thing I would not choose my name and think there are much nicer welsh names but I have never disliked it particularly. No one actually calls me the full name anyway.
