Annie or Anna

Dh and I going round in circles on this one. Annie or Anna known as Annie?

Anna - beautiful name, especially when said in an Italian accent!!!!!

I have an Anna, but Annie is kinda cool.Always think of the talented and beautiful Diane Keaton when I hear it.

Anna with Annie as a nickname. Anna is classic,Annie is a nickname to me personally.

Anna known as Annie. I has exactly the same thought process for DS2, who then turned out to be a boy. Love both names. We are a fan of Annie Rose, Alfie's sister, in this house.

If you're going to call her Annie, I'd say that you should just call her Annie! It's a really nice name .

Anne known as Annie, I would have thought. For some reason that makes more sense to me than having Anna as the formal name. Or just Annie. Very lovely either way.

If you don't like Anna, just call her Annie. A lot of people will call her by her given name which would be a shame if you don't like it. If you like both, I think I would call her Anna and use Annie.

Annie is not a nickname anymore...it's a name. Anna suggests someone elegant whilst Annie suggests someone cute. Which do you want your child associated with?

Annie, I know a 10 year old and a 60 year old, suits both.

I just love Annie.

Although I must say, the name Anna is forever tainted for me, because it's the name of the utter cow girl who bullied me at school. Therefore I cannot see or hear the name, without feeling a chill down my spine. For that very reason, I cannot view Anna in a favourable way, so my opinion in very much biased by that.

I would just call her Annie if that is what you intend to use.

I like Anne.
