I love the name Mckenzie-blue. What does everyone else think of it xxx

OP posts:

I cannot think of a single community or group where such a name would not be a handicap

If it's a family name and/or you are American, fair do's. Otherwise, you'll just come across as a bit of a div that watches too much Montel Williams or something.

Alisvolatpropiis · 22/10/2012 23:47

usualsuspect it's a proper Scottish surname. Would you call a child Fortescue? That's a proper name too.

UltraBOF · 22/10/2012 23:48

O'Reilly-Banana. That's got a nice ring to it.

GoSakuramachi · 22/10/2012 23:49

Cholmondeley-Smythe is another proper name.

Grin usual! I bet the op is devastated! I mean, who doesn't want to be a high court judge?

So what? Because you are looking for a first name. Or you might as well call it Elbow- "but it's a body part" - "so what?"

You could say that about anything.

MrsRhettButler · 22/10/2012 23:55

Doesn't hold much water? Really? A name is a name is a name. Who cares which country it came from? All of you who do care are the 'divs' IMO

If you smelt it you dealt it.

Etc.

Inneedofbrandy · 22/10/2012 23:56

I quite like it. I was really tempted to call my son kenzo but then my sons name is actually made up! Oh and if he ever wants to be a judge he will be!

Also all first names. Except for Conner (would be Conor or Connor if you must).

MrsRhettButler · 22/10/2012 23:58

Names evolve though BOF, the fact that so many people use it as a first name nowadays means that surely its evolving no?

Yep. Great name. Go for it.

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:01

I got your sarcasm btw usual Wink I get so bored of hearing the same thing too.

Oh, I love brandy's comment too, if he wants to be a fucking judge he fucking will!

UltraBOF · 23/10/2012 00:02

Mc= son of

Kenzie=who the fuck's he?

Why would you call your kid something that means they are the son of some randomer? It's just a bit silly. In my opinion. Which was asked for. That is just what I think.

Right, bedtime.
