I really like this name. DH thinks it's a bit too 'out there'. I'm after opinions on what other people think before I try and convince him otherwise.

It's not top 300 and I've only met one child with the name (several adults) but I still wouldn't call it 'out there'

I have no idea why it's not more popular, I think it's much prettier than Julia.

Actually prefer the spelling Juliette but realise that's a bit fancy for many people's tastes.

Not 'out there' at all although men can be more conservative when it comes to picking names. I am surprised to hear it's outside of the top 300. Lovely and pretty and under used. And it's certainly got literary credentials

I've just put this back on my list after your thread reminded me! I adore it. Classic and under-used, but not remotely crazy imho.

If you already have a son named "Romeo", I'd avoid.

Otherwise, I think it's a lovely name. It's certainly not weird or "out there". Juliette is the French spelling - I prefer the normal one.
