I'm super broody! Can't TTC as having some personal/financial issues at the moment. DD is called Orla, 16mo, cute as a button. Anyone want to play the sibling name game with me?

Girls:

Anya (Aine?)
Claudia
Lois
Ines
Alexa

Middle name to be Iris or Caroline

Boys:
Joseph
Patrick
Nicholas
Ellis
Gray

Middle name to be James or Hunter

Thoughts on the above? Suggestions?

Anya - nice, but too similar to Orla
Claudia - I have an irrational hatred for this name, so it's a no from me
Lois - no it makes me think of Family Guy.
Ines - how would you pronounce this?
Alexa - not to my taste

Joseph - nice, bit dull
Patrick - fine
Nicholas - fine, bit dull
Ellis - quite like this, although Orla and Ellis is a bit of a mouthful
Gray - no.

I know a little Orla and her brother is called Donnacha, which I think is quite sweet.

Claudia and Gray Smile

Love Claudia and Ellis. Gray is dreadful imho, sorry, and I always think that Alexa sounds quite 'hard.'

Claudia Iris and Ellis James both v nice.

Lois Caroline ( but better as Caroline Lois)
Nicholas James.

Leftwingharpie · 21/09/2012 19:57

How do you pronounce Donnacha?

Leftwingharpie · 21/09/2012 19:59

OP I like all your names - except Patrick and Gray!

seeker · 21/09/2012 20:00

Patrick is the best name ever.

I don't think any of your girl's names go with Orla, I'm afraid. Do you have any more?

MamaGeekChic · 21/09/2012 20:22

Will have a think, there were a few more I liked. Not that fussed about them 'going' as such, as long as they don't sound ridiculous together, they will be 2 seperate people afterall.

Thanks!

All fine but Ellis isn't great. Grey and Hunter (seriously?) are awful, bloody awful.

MamaGeekChic · 21/09/2012 20:38

Hunter is a middle name, as it's a family surname that I really want to include for personal reasons.
