What do you think of Celeste?

What do you think of Celeste as a girl's name? I haven't put it to dp yet, out of curiosity I'd like to gauge public opinion first.

Very strong association to the Marie Celeste for me, so I wouldn't use it.

I think it's a lovely name.

I think it's pretty, but Celestine is even nicer.

love it, top of my list for years until i put it to DH who said he knew one once and loathed it

Absolutely love it, so much so that I used it for DD1.

It's okay. I didn't used to like it much but I know a gorgeous 9 year old Celeste who has warmed me up to the name a bit.

I went to school with a girl who called her DD Celeste , she's about 3 now . At the time I didn't like it but now with the amount of old names coming back it is growing on me . Its pretty without being over popular !
