Mimsy - a MN name?

I have boys and have no intention of having any more children.

Came across this name in a book (not a baby name book!) today presumably it is is short for Mimosa (??)

Anyway, I thought it sounded like the kind of name that people on MN seem to like - was I right?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
