Love them all! Also helpful!

LemonLovesLilac · 17/09/2012 20:29

SlightlyJaded yeah I also like your suggestions but I already know a Martha and Margaux! I'm not sure why I prefer Agatha to Agnes, they are very similar though! Bowerbird I like the suggestion of Juno Beatix!

Juno is wonderful!

Prefer Beatrice to Beatrix

Dislike Agatha personally.... prefer Agnes.

elizaregina · 18/09/2012 10:21

I agree with the x on beatrice - what about spanish - beatriz...

LuellaLovesLavender · 18/09/2012 16:29

Beatrix.....lovely!

DD2(17) has a granny chic/classic name that is definitely not of the frilly variety (like Elsie, Lacey, Tilly, etc) -- it's a good old OT name. She has never come across another one. It stands her out in a sea of Nicoles and Allies and she likes that aspect of it.

I think they're all pretty awful, but Beatrix would be the easiest to live with imho. Agatha is a definite no.It has to be one of the ugliest, harshest names out there.

Juno is marginally better, but still bad.

LuellaLovesLavender · 19/09/2012 12:41

Actually the more I think of Juno the more I like it...so Beatrix then Juno!

worldcitizen · 19/09/2012 13:34

When I hear Agatha, Martha, and Agnes I immediately think of Polish girls. As those names are very popular there, and every Polish girl I know with that name...well is sort of dull and boring...sorry about any offence I have caused now Blush

Love Beatrice, well and I think the Dutch Queen is called Beatrix!?

worldcitizen · 19/09/2012 13:36

mathanxiety is it Ruth???

delilah88 · 19/09/2012 13:49

Beatrix, though I admire you if you choose Juno. She can always opt for June.

Juno, of course!

iwantedanonymity · 19/09/2012 21:16

Agatha is miss trunchbull in Matilda , please don't do it to your poor daughter. I'm afraid beyond that I m not much help as I really dislike all of those names

theroseofwait · 20/09/2012 21:59

Another vote for Agatha nn Taggie.

Vamos · 21/09/2012 15:37

I love Beatrix, although prefer Beatriz, which we would have named our daughter if we'd had one.
