we're looking for a short, feminine name which would suit a child and adult.
So far we've got....

Holly, Ella or Rosa. Which is the nicest? And what middle name would you go for with your favourite?

Thanks in advance!

Rosa or Holly. I am not keen on Ella - particularly as it is Spanish for 'she'.

Rosa

Like Rosa best from your list follwed by Holly with Ella a long, long way behind.

I know of a 12 mth old Rosa but she's the only one. There were only 208 babies born named Rosa in 2010 so it's very unlikely she'd have to be known as Rosa surname initial at nursery and school.

Others have made some lovely middle name suggestions. Have you any family names that you like? We gave DD2 my maternal grandma's name as her middle name and I wish we'd had this idea when DD1 was born. Love her middle name but it would have been more special if it had been after a dearly loved relative rather than a randomly selected name.
