I've only liked it since I met one. i've met two now. The name starts to sound different when you know someone called it.

MadBus it is a bit of a marmite name, I wouldn't choose it because my family would have exactly your reaction.

But all the Jemimas I have met (teacher) have been sparky, funny and popular with their peers. And I really like how it sounds/looks and many of the NNs.
