So....FIL is called George. Actually he's called Stuart but everyone calls him George. SIL has a DS called George. Would it be utterly ridiculous to call DD Georgia??

I think so, but then I come from a family with Ann, Anna and Hannah. Also geri, Gerry and Kerry. It gets confusing and ultimately very answers to any name!

I think Georgia's fine but how about Georgina so she could be Gina for short, less confusing. I assume your FIL is a nice bloke and worthy of all this tribute?

Ha! Yes he's fairly alright - but I just like the name really!

My DD is called Georgia (5), its a lovely name and not overly popular but we generally call her Georg and so do some of her friends and teachers , bear in mind her nickname as she grows up !

Georgia is a lovely name, probably ok to have a Georgia in the family. It will make calling everyone to the table easy
