Yes, very Italian, I'd assume some family heritage but basically nice.

cat · 07/09/2012 18:21

Love love love Enzo.

Not so keen on Lorenzo.

WithACherryOnTop · 07/09/2012 18:23

It's lovely.I don't like Enzo all that much,though it's ok,but Lorenzo is very nice.

hellokitty123 · 07/09/2012 18:29

I think Lorenzo is lovely. Strong, masculine and not overused.

survivingsummer · 07/09/2012 19:18

Love Lorenzo and Enzo for short! Smile

GoldandOrangeAnnunziata · 07/09/2012 19:36

I think you have to have a foreign surname. It is a lovely name though- and patron saint of cooking I think? I prefer Lorenzo, all the Enzos (Enzu? Grin) I've ever met have been old.

TudorJess · 07/09/2012 19:38

Fine if you have an Italian connection, otherwise Lawrence.

If you have no Italian connections daft. if you do fine.

youonlysingwhenyourewinning · 07/09/2012 21:16

That's like saying you can't use Niamh unless you have Irish connections, which is bonkers!

Lorenzo is lovely. Enzo is gorgeous.

kerala · 07/09/2012 21:17

Yep that sounds daft too. I cringe when people cherry pick names from other cultures that they have no link with eg Amelie for a stolid English girl.

SirBoobAlot · 07/09/2012 21:17

Just makes me giggle, can't take it seriously. So... No.

CajaDeLaMemoria · 07/09/2012 21:20

Snooki from Jersey Shore just called her baby Lorenzo. She's got it stamped on everything so no one can forget.

So I now think of her, or the car for Enzo.

CajaDeLaMemoria · 07/09/2012 21:21

I don't watch it, by the way. Its just all over magazines/our baby group. So it could be a lot more popular in the next few years because of that.

applepieinthesky · 07/09/2012 21:22

Lorenzo is nice but don't like Enzo. Of course you can use it if you're not Italian!

xmasevebundle · 07/09/2012 21:23

Yeah i was going to say snooki! Its lovely name but might become more popular due to her.

victoriassponge · 07/09/2012 21:27

Don't know what Jersey Shore is, but love the name.

WhereAreMyShoes · 07/09/2012 21:36

I like it. I can't say I know it to be very popular, but then I don't have kids at school yet.
I like that it's easy to recognise but still unusual, as far as I know.

squoosh · 08/09/2012 00:22

You can use it if you're not Italian but people will say 'Oh I didn't know you had Italian connections'. I'd think it strange.

mathanxiety · 08/09/2012 04:18

Love it.

LoopyLoopsOlympicHoops · 08/09/2012 04:45

I love it. Both my DDs have French ish names, no one has ever asked about French connections. The world is a small place now, and besides, we have been cherry picking all kinds of lovely things from other cultures for thousands of years. Go for it.

LoopyLoopsOlympicHoops · 08/09/2012 04:45

ps. Lawrence is horrible.

HarlettOScara · 08/09/2012 05:10

I love it. It was high on my list of boys names but DP vetoed it and baby is a girl.

CheerfulYank · 08/09/2012 05:12

I've always liked it but will think of Snooki. Still, it is nice though. Lorenzo Dominic is much better than I'd expected of her!
