Jonas? Thoughts/how popular?

OH suggested Jonas which I think I might like- does anyone know how common it is? Thanks

Never heard it round here but I really like it

I know one age 1 he's really scrummy. Never heard it before this one so quite unusual.

I know one Jonah who is about 12. No others, Jonases or anything else along those lines.

Jonas is a lovely name. It has gained in popularity in France in recent years: Jonas but is still quite rare.

I've never met anyone called Jonas. It's quite nice although I prefer Jonah and Silas.

I really like both Jonah and Jonas but already have a Noah and felt a bit too similar. Never met either in real life, so def not overly popular where i am.

Thanks all, after speaking to OH again he meant Jonah which I took as jonas, think I still like it. Would be ago of compromise as I like very old fashioned names and he likes unusual names :)
