Thoughts please?

Obviously there is the Abney and Teal connection, but I don't think it's overly associated with that, and it's a nice little programme anyway.

AlexanderS · 29/08/2012 11:55

I like Thea but have a slight lisp so it's not the greatest name for me :(

HiHowAreYou · 29/08/2012 19:27

Colour. Duck. No.

MrsJohnDeere · 29/08/2012 20:50

Duck. No.

Astralabe · 29/08/2012 21:03

I know a Tiel (mid thirties) and love her name! Maybe this spelling would be better to avoid duck associations?!

I knew a baby Teal about seven years ago, haven't met another. Her dad was called Robin, they chose it because it was a bird name like her dad. My first comment was 'like the colour' I didn't know it was a bird. It's fine, not that complicated to spell or say really and not completely made up either.

I know 3 dogs called Teal.

I have taught a Teal (secondary). I sat her next to Saffron to amuse me so I could learn their names quicker. There are far nicer names, but if you're going for nature-type names, at least it's a 'strong' name unlike some
