Favorite Jilly Cooper names?

I've just started Riders (having never picked up a Jilly Cooper novel before) and am fascinated by how Rupert is such a lout. Then there are loads of characters and dogs....

So, any names from any of her novels you'd use on an actual child? (or maybe you already have )

Oooh I love Jilly Cooper books. Haven't read one for years. I remember reading Rivals when I was about 16 and it blew me away.

Might see if I can buy it on the kindle. Got a bank holiday to myself as am off work but kids are at school. 6 hours of romps and naughtiness. Perfect.

I was desperate to call ds Ace or Red and had just talked dp into it when Matt and Emma Willis called there son Ace so I went of it, I nicknamed my friends little boy ace when he was born and it's stuck, I think he'll thank me when he's older

Who are Matt and Emma Willis when they're at home??

He was the bloke from busted and she is a tv presenter and does those programmes on itv2 after the main itv show like I'm a celebrity etc, think she is doing the same for celebrity big brother at the moment.

I wanted to call DS Rupert but wasn't allowed :( I didn't help my case by saying his nn would be Ruby, after I discovered that the jockey Ruby Walsh's name is Rupert.
I like Francesca/Chessie for a girl (Polo) but her character was a bit of a cow!
I actually did look through the character lists in all my Jilly books for inspiration!

ooooh I LOVE these books and am currently reading Riders for the millionth time! I like: Dino (prob would not use), Fenella, Luke, Perdita, Red, Bibi, Francesca (chessie), violet....can't think of any more at the moment but there's loads more I'm sure :)
