Really need some name advice quickly!

Hello, we are going to register DS next week. We have decided on Benjamin with a double barrell surname. Unfortunately, and this has only just occured to us, the second part of the surname is the word *all (begins with B)!

Do we need to have a rethink? Would this name just invite teasing (Top Cat) or do you think having the other surname breaks it up enough for it not to be a problem.

Please help - we don't want to make a terrible mistake!

As long as the other part of the Surname isn't "The" and you call him Benny, then it will probably be okay. However, is there anything else you like just as much.

as long as you consistantly use your surname in full I think it's fine.

So it's like Ben Smith-*all?

Canoe - we are concerned about the combination of Benjamin with the second part of our double barrell name which is a noun beginning with 'B' and ending in 'all'. There is a character in Top Cat called that and wonder it it will lead to teasing.

No I don't think it would be a problem. The double-barrelled name takes the emphasis off *all.

Even if anyone thought of it, it's just an innocuous cartoon character, not some really negative connotation. Is Top Cat even on TV these days?
