What do you think of Fraser? My hub loves it, I'm not sure.. .

I love it, but my husband doesn't. He went to school with a Fraser he didn't like, or something like that.

I love Scottish names.

thereistheball · 22/08/2012 05:47

I would love a Fraser but DH has vetoed it as our surname starts with F. It is still very high on my list for family reasons. I hope DH changes his mind.

IceCubes · 22/08/2012 05:49

I love it. Was on my shortlist for DS2 but my teacher husband said it was a 'naughty' name!

Badgerina · 22/08/2012 06:33

House of...

twooter · 22/08/2012 06:38

I don't like it. My dh wanted it for one of ours, but luckily we had a girl instead.

Nospringflower · 22/08/2012 07:01

Like it but I am Scottish Smile

BikeMedalsRunningMedals · 22/08/2012 07:26

I love it! Friend had one earlier this year, but I have always liked it (i'm not Scottish). I'd spell it with a 'z' though, but only to give poor old underused 'z' an airing.

i like Fraser !!

CakeBump · 22/08/2012 12:18

Like it. It's no nonsense, not easily shortened.

Nice.

amck5700 · 22/08/2012 12:54

I like it. would have been on the list for us but Oh said it was his ex's dad's name so vetoed. The fact that we then named our son the same name as her brother missed him completely! but then he said the dad was a twat but the brother was an okay guy

on the same vein, I like:

Euan
Gregor
Struan
Craig

jaffacakehips · 22/08/2012 13:03

I like it, on my our lists. DH not so keen why did I marry an English man Grin I love it bit then I'm a Jock.

What about Hamish, Lewis or Rory?

PickleSarnie · 22/08/2012 13:30

Love it. But I have one so I'm biased. Definitely spelt with an 's' though. A 'z' looks a bit gimmicky I think.

mrstowers · 22/08/2012 13:48

Lovely name and definitely with an 's'.

Littlecherublegs · 22/08/2012 14:34

I quite like it, there is definitely worse out there anyway!
Have only ever come across one who will be about 30 now so I dont think its particularly popular / common.

I also like Spencer, Gregor, Euan, Harris / Harrison, Stuart and Shaun.

DessieLou · 22/08/2012 16:55

LOVE it! Please use it as so many of us aren't allowed to!

Chinsup · 22/08/2012 19:23

Love it.

ellangirl · 22/08/2012 22:17

Great name, I am biased tho :-) I've only had good reactions from others.

ellangirl · 22/08/2012 22:17

P.s. and I don't live in Scotland

SouthBySouthWest · 23/08/2012 11:56

Love it, but I'm married to one, so am biased Wink. We are Scottish though...not sure how well it travels.

Xanniiismypanda · 23/08/2012 19:09

I have a brother called Frazer , its not very common either especially when spelt with a Z

CanoeSlalom · 23/08/2012 20:57

I don't like it, sorry. I think it sounds harsh.

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 24/08/2012 14:07

I like it. It is v common in Scotland - there were 2 in my class at school and my stepfather is a Fraser.

vamosbebe · 24/08/2012 14:10

Oooh, love it Smile it's a no nonsense, proud name and sounds GREAT in a Scottish accent!

lighthousekeeping · 24/08/2012 14:15

That's on my sisters list. Love it.
