Haha. Yes I thought of the bird, there are lots of them in this country. It says 'bird' too much for me and doesn't actually sound like something that you can use as a name. Are there no names that sound similar that you like?

Tis not 'a bird from Africa' it's a type of bird that's found all ower the world. Greenfinch, Chaffinch and Goldfinch are common garden birds in the UK.

It's the sort of name I'd expect to be attached to an elderly male somewhat posh character in a 1920s country house murder mystery.

Sorry but I thought Atticus, so to me it's a surname.

It's not as odd as some names being used now, but I'm not sure I'd thank my parents for it.

Remind's me of the character from The Office, Chris Finch, known as Finch.
