We want a strong masculine name and can't decide.

So far we like
Jacob/ Jake more keen on Jake than Jacob and will probably just use Jake
Jack really like but very popular
Dylan
Edward
Daniel

What are your thoughts on the short list?

Of your list, Edward is my favourite (love all the possible NNs to.it too),

Love Dylan !

Oops; posted too soon. Second fave is Jack. Never think something is bad just because its popular - its popular for a reason!

If you are also looking for.more suggestions,
Thomas
Alexander
Christopher
Harry

Jake, Dylan and Edward all nice. Like Jack, but it is very popular.

LynetteScavo · 14/08/2012 18:15

Jacob no strong enough, just wishy wash.

Jack - strong, you say popular.

Dylan - nice but not strong.

Edward - Strong yet caring.

Daniel - meh. Now can't believe I wanted to call DS1 Daniel. ( In my defence Elton John was crooning out of the radio as I gave birth)

Phaedra11 · 14/08/2012 18:41

I think Jack is the strongest name on the list and if you like it you should go for it. I think the popularity for Jack may have peaked now anyway.

If you chose Dylan, don't do what DH's cousin did and use the middle name Thomas Shock
