What are your thoughts as a boys first name?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
usualsuspect · 09/08/2012 20:56

I like it.

Gugglebum · 09/08/2012 21:05

It's one my boys' middle names, after a little boy I looked after when I was a teen. It's a great name. :)

ColourMeWithChaos · 09/08/2012 21:07

I like it - a bit different but no ambiguity in terms of spelling or pronunciation

VolAuVent · 09/08/2012 21:25

Nothing against Blake in particular but I'm not keen on surnames as first names.

EdithWeston · 09/08/2012 21:27

It's fine as long as your surname isn't Carrington!

DialMforMummy · 09/08/2012 21:27

I like it. Unusual but to too bonkers. Good effort!

NoComet · 09/08/2012 21:32

I really like it.

sostressedsostressed · 10/08/2012 01:08

Nope, sounds Council Estate.

What about James?

MrsRhettButler · 10/08/2012 01:10

James? Hmm bit random.

I quite like Blake

Badgerina · 10/08/2012 08:43

"Sounds council estate". Good god...

suburbandweller · 10/08/2012 11:52

A friend has a Blake, it's a lovely and underused name. She's in meeja though and I think that's why it works Grin

Paddocks1 · 10/08/2012 13:40
