Second dd due in a couple of weeks, finally after changing my mind so much we have decided on final 3 names: Eva, Scarlett, Isabelle. Now stuck on middle names to go with them. Dd1 is Millie grace I do like grace as a middle name for Eva, but would it be silly to use the same middle name for 2 daughters? Any suggestions welcome for middle names :-) x

Yes I think it would be silly - there are thousands of names out there ! The obvious answer in your case would Be Rose or May or Lily as you do seem to like popular names.

I also think it would be silly. You could always call her after someone is you can't think of anything.

In would go for a more unusual middle
name with those names. I once taught a class with two Lily Mays.

Not bothered on the popularity of the name, just we happen to really like them 3 names. Would be nice to have a middle name that's not so popular maybe that still sounds pretty Smile

You wouldn't use one of the remaining two names? I think they'd go together quite well.

Yes, Scarlett Isabel is lovely.

Love Scarlett. Strong name.

manicinsomniac · 08/08/2012 14:32

I love both Isabelle and Eva. Not so keen on Scarlett

What about
Isabelle Eva
Eva Scarlett
Isabelle Rose
Eva May

VolAuVent · 08/08/2012 16:35

I like Isabelle best of your list. Isabelle Scarlett would go nicely, or how about Isabelle Ruby, Isabelle Coralie, Isabelle Georgia?

ninjawomble · 09/08/2012 14:58

Like both Isabelle and Eva, not keen on Scarlett.

How about Eva Isabelle or Isabelle Eve ?

OhGood · 09/08/2012 15:05

I think they are all beautiful names.

In my family, we do the 'hand names down' thing - I don't particularly like my middle name (Patricia) but I love that it's my gran's name and she is the most astounding woman. Anything there?

Or something flamboyant and out-there. Lyra. Tallulah. Zelda. (Actually can't think of anything.)

Zara would be a great middle name to be a little different and goes well with Scarlett or Isabelle.

I would avoid Isabelle Eva as a combination (is a believer).

God attheendoftheday please can I run all my names past you - very sharp eyes.
