Is Rose overdone as a girl's middle name?

I am (sort of) TTC and semi-obsessed with baby names.

Anyway, I love the middle name Rose for a girl, though I know it's very popular. My grandfather grew roses and they always make me think of him, so I feel like it'd be honoring him in a small way.

Is it too common, though? It doesn't really matter, I suppose. But when I grew up every other girl had Marie as a middle name and it got a bit old after awhile.

I think Rose is beautiful and wasted as a middle name IMO, I would have used it for one of my first names if it wasn't my nieces' middle name.
