Unusual but not weird pretty girl names PLEASE!

Help me! Totally stuck on a name for our baby (we know she's a girl).

I'd like something unusual but not odd. Love pretty names for girls ending with a 'y' sound. If Lily or Millie were unusual names that's the kind of thing we'd go for.

We also have greek relatives so could use a Greek name but also no ideas here. Love flower names as well but can't find any unusual ones.

Can't have a 'r' sound though - i can say my 'rs' but never comfortable with them. So e.g. 'raphaela' would be out or 'primose' (not that I like primrose anyway but YKWIM).

If you're not already fed up of my list of requirements, can you please please give me some ideas?! Xxxxxxx

Delia has a greek origin, and is one of my favourites. As for flowers, one of my closest friends has a little 14 month old Azalea, and her nickname is Zaley. Maybe one of those would work for you?

well were it not for 50 Shades of Shite, you could have Anastasia (my dd2's name, born before the well known phenomenon blah blah); she has nn Annie - it's Greek, it's pretty, you can use it as an -ee name; it's unusual, it doesn't have an 'r' in it...

Stella is a lovely name and means 'star'. If I were to hdvd another dd,, it'd be on my short list! Along with Anastasia (haven't read 50 Shades so am not bothered about that connotation! Anyway 50 shades will be forgotten in 6 months, as all badly written tripe is...)

Holofernes - yes, I know it will. It was an old family name (it's unusual, but not unheard of in ireland); sure she will be subjected to some sniggers at some point.

Another one - not Greek, but ticks the other boxes, is Saskia - the name of Rembrandt's wife - Dutch I think, and very very pretty

Stella is lovely, actually - and you can go all literary with it if you want (Astrophil and Stella)..
